Joanne Vos, Esq. negotiated this Redevelopment Agreement on behalf of the Perth Amboy Redevelopment Agency involving a residential complex to be known as “RiverWalk Crossing,” comprising approximately 578 units within three 5-story buildings and two 3-story buildings. Ten percent of the residential units will be restricted as Workforce Housing units for a period of at least 10 years, which covenant shall run with the land in a recorded Redeveloper’s Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. The Project will also contain approximately 700 parking spaces as well as open space consisting of a playground, the improvement of a City-owned walkway, and an observation deck. The Project will also feature signage, lighting, landscaping and streetscaping, new sidewalks and infrastructure improvements. The Project Site will be remediated to a residential standard, addressing legacy contamination that has plagued the property for many years.
