Gabrielle Hartman

Gabrielle joined Maraziti Falcon in 2025 as an Associate.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a student attorney with the Duke Environmental Law & Policy Clinic, where she worked on a Title VI and Section 504 Civil Rights Complaint related to Environmental Justice due to alleged discrimination the basis of race and disability status during the permitting process and approval of an asphalt plant. In 2023, she was a student attorney with the Duke Law Health Justice Clinic, where she focused on compassionate release motions on the basis of medical circumstances for individuals incarcerated in federal prisons, as well as assisting individuals in changing their name and/or gender on their identification documents. She also interned with the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2023, where she focused on animal issues including law and policy concerning M-44s (sodium cyanide capsules) used by state and federal Wildlife Services to kill coyotes, feral dogs, foxes, and other canine wildlife.

Gabrielle received her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2024. There, she was President of Duke Law Students for Accessibility for two years, where she assisted law students in obtaining their legally entitled accommodations for their disabilities and other needs. In that role, she also assisted in the development and publication of accommodations procedures, which resulted in a significant increase in the number of law students successfully obtaining accommodations, and the creation of a dedicated Disability Services Liaison. Additionally, she was the Co-Director of Duke Law’s National Lawyers Guild chapter. She did pro-bono work for a number of organizations, including Duke Law’s Afghan Asylum Project.
