Maraziti Falcon’s Alyse Landano Hubbard Appointed as an Associate Counsel for New Jersey Planning Officials

 

 

Maraziti Falcon Attorney Alyse Landano Hubbard was just appointed as an Associate Counsel to the New Jersey Planning Officials, an organization formed and led by citizen planners, volunteer local residents appointed by mayors and/or municipal governing bodies to serve on planning boards and zoning boards of adjustment.

Associate Counsels for the NJPO have a number of responsibilities, including representing the organization in connection with litigation, answering questions concerning the substance and procedures of land use law, researching and presenting memoranda on new cases and statutory amendments for publication, and authoring an article or publication for NJPO at least once a year.

Alyse Hubbard focuses her practice in counseling clients on land use matters, representation of zoning and planning boards and real estate transactions. Ms. Hubbard frequently drafts ordinances and resolutions for municipal councils, planning boards and zoning boards.  She offers legal opinions to the board secretary and professionals, provides legal analysis of land use issues, as well as reviews and analyzes municipal ordinances and state statutes.  Ms. Hubbard is actively involved in the preparation of land use applications, from the initial concept, coordinating and meeting with applicant and board professionals, through the presentation at public meetings. She has reviewed and negotiated municipal and developer’s agreements.  Ms. Hubbard handles all aspects of real estate closings.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hubbard served of counsel at the Law Office of Larry I. Wiener, Esq., as a sole practitioner at the Law Office of Alyse Landano Hubbard, Esq., and as an associate at the Law Office of Edward J. Buzak, Esq.
